In this workshop, you will:

Learn the Basics: Our experienced tutor will guide you through fundamental acrylic painting and ink techniques, including color mixing, brush handling, and creating different textures. You will also be shown ways of abstracting the flower motifs to create a unique ‘all over’ composition.

Explore Floral Art: Discover how to paint beautiful flowers step-by-step, from simple petals to intricate details. We'll focus on all sorts of flowers, and using photographic references and real or fake flowers, you'll have the freedom to choose your favourite blooms to paint.

Develop Your Skills: Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with painting, this workshop will help you build confidence and improve your artistic abilities. We will discuss colour harmonies, tone and saturation so you can make your palette as subtle or brigh as you wish.

What will I achieve?

Is this class right for me?

This is a beginner-friendly class suitable for anyone.  All materials will be provided, including canvases, acrylic paints, inks, brushes, palettes, and aprons. 

What should I bring?

Feel free to bring any fresh flowers or photos that you might like to work with along with what is provided by us. As well as your enthusiasm! We'll provide tea and coffee, but you might like to bring something sweet to share.
