YOur tutor Saba Manesh is a watercolour artist, originally from Iran who studied watercolour painting as part of her degree in Urban Design. "Watercolour is my passion, and each painting tells a story of places I've explored and tried to depict emotions I've felt and the connection I have with the world around me as an artist and landscape architecture. My art is a reflection of the seasons, the landscapes, and the beauty that exists everywhere either in a landscape or a bunch of flowers."

Course testimonials:

  • Saba is a wonderful teacher and beautiful artist who inspires you to keep on practicing and learning
  • Saba Manesh was able to provide a patient and thorough demonstration and explanation of her approach to painting flowers in watercolor in just three hours. The class started with some basic information and demo of some basic technical knowledge of how to use the medium. While we practiced, she went around the room regularly to provide input and feedback to each student - quite a feat considering there were about 12 students present. The workshop was not for absolute beginners (I think) although anyone would have been able to learn from her clear presentation. It also seemed to me that Saba is a very warm and generous teacher - and person - and I really enjoyed meeting her.
  • Saba is a lovely tutor and shares her knowledge of watercolour & its complexities with intelligence , ease & humor. I enjoyed her workshop & will look out for more courses with her.
