Art classes for everyone
Art Est. is Sydney’s leading independent art school for kids, teens and adults.
Established in Leichhardt in 2008 by Jennifer McNamara, Art Est is a local art school where students of all ages and abilities can discover their artistic potential in a professional studio environment with practicing artists. Our refurbished and air-conditioned warehouse studios have transformed Art Est into a creative art space for painting, drawing, printmaking and ceramics.
Over the past 17 years, Art Est has gained a reputation for employing local creatives, offering a platform for new and emerging artists, and providing quality tuition in a nurturing and relaxed environment.
Classes are taught by award-winning practicing artists, qualified art teachers or art school graduates, and those who exhibit with respected galleries. Art Est. offers excellence in art education. It is not a registered training organisation (RTO) and does not offer accredited courses – it’s about making art accessible and getting everyday creatives in the same studio as practicing artists offering hands-on learning.
